As a plant-based eater, the burger game used to be a little hit and miss, never quite satisfying that craving. Not anymore! Get messy and fully satisfy that burger vibe with this home-made version of your favourite flame grilled burger with cheese (dairy-free of course) with our Dairy Free Down Under Cheddar Style Slices and our Dairy Free Down Under Mayo Style. Prep time 5mins Cooking Time 5mins Serves 1   INGREDIENTS
  • 1x plant-based burger patty
  • 2 slices of Dairy Free Down Under Cheddar Style Slices
  • A squeeze of Dairy Free Down Under Mayo Style
  • A squeeze of ketchup
  • Burger pickles
  • White onion slices
  • Tomato slices
  • Sesame seed bun
  • Lettuce shreds
  • Olive oil
METHOD
  1. Warm the olive oil in a pan and fry your burger patty until crispy. Flip, then place a Dairy Free Down Under Cheddar Style Slice on top, cover with a lid and cook for a few minutes until the cheese has melted
  2. Slice your burger bun and lay another cheese slice on the bottom, microwave for 30 seconds
  3. Once your patty and cheese are ready, lay it on the bottom of the bun
  4. Top with ketchup, pickles, onion and tomato (the order is key!)
  5. Squeeze Dairy Free Down Under Mayo Style on the top of the bun and add lettuce, place the burger all together, get messy, and enjoy!
